Giving a befitting reply to the haters running the boycott trend regarding Liger, Vijay Deverakonda said that he is not afraid of it. They don’t know what people want.
Vijay Deverakonda said-We started shooting for this film in 2019, when it was not a trend to boycott films. At that time I felt that there is no one better than Karan Johar for the Pan India release of this film. He took Baahubali and showed us a path to North India which was an unknown territory for us. The script and production was ours. When we requested him to release the film in Hindi, he gave it a warm welcome. ,
I don’t know what their (online trolls) issue is and what they want. We are right on our side. I was born in Hyderabad Puri sir was born in Narsipatnam so shouldn’t we work? Shouldn’t we release our films? Should we sit at home?
he adds-‘You all are seeing how much love the audience is showering on us. I am doing movies for that audience. I want that audience. There is no need to be afraid as long as those people are with us.
When we are right and we are doing our religion, then there is no need to listen to anyone. We must fight. I have no fear. We made a film from the heart. We all belong to this country and we know how much we do for our country and its people. We are not one of the batches who just tweet while sitting in front of the computer. Talking about the film ‘Liger’, it has been directed by South’s big director Puri Jagannath. Ananya Pandey will be seen in this film along with Vijay Deverakonda. American boxer Mike Tyson also has a cameo role in the film and Ramya Krishnan will also be seen in this film. The film is releasing on August 25.
