In the show, she talked about her son Aryan Khan’s drug case, after which she is once again in the news.
On the show, Karan Johar told Gauri Khan without naming the controversial case of son Aryan Khan, “It has been a tough time for you not only professionally but personally as a family. You all have emerged from this so strongly as a family. I know it hasn’t been easy. I know you as a mother and we are all members of the same family. I feel like I am the godparent of your children too. It hasn’t been easy but Gauri, I have seen you come out stronger than most. What do you have to say about your way of handling tough times when families go through something like this?’
To this Gauri Khan said- ‘Yes, as a family, we have gone through this… I think as a mother, as a parent, whatever we have gone through is worse. Nothing else can happen. But today where we stand as a family, I can say that we are at a good place where we feel the love from all. I feel so blessed for the messages and so much love from all our friends and so many people we didn’t know. I would say that I am grateful to all the people who supported us during this time.
Let us tell you, Shahrukh Khan and Gauri’s son Aryan Khan was in the news last year due to drugs case. NCB had arrested Aryan in the drugs case of cruise going from Mumbai to Goa. Aryan Khan got bail after several hearings in the court. This period was very painful for Shahrukh’s family.
