'It is not easy to live life without a father'
Mumbai: Cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, popularly known as Tiger among cricket lovers, was one of the finest captains of the Indian cricket team. He may have played 46 matches for India but due to his brilliant innings, his name was immortalized in the history of cricket forever. Apart from cricket, he also had relations with Bollywood. He married actress Sharmila Tagore.
On 22 September 2011, he said goodbye to this world. His 11th death anniversary is on 22 September 2022. In such a situation, his daughters Soha Ali Khan has remembered him. Through the video, Soha told what life is like without a father. Soha shared an old video of the Nawab of Pataudi on her Instagram handle.
In the video, the legendary cricketer is seen talking about his father. In the shared video, Mansoor can be heard speaking in Urdu. He said- ‘My mother came and told me that my father was no more. I was so young and I didn’t even know what it meant. With time I realized that it is not easy to live my life without my father.
While sharing the video, Soha wrote in the caption of the video- ‘I am missing that voice.’
Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi married Sharmila Tagore in 1966. They have three children – Saif Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. While Saif and Soha became big names in the film world following in their mother’s footsteps, Saba left acting and pursued a career in jewelry designing. He died in New Delhi on 22 September 2011 at the age of 70 after battling a lung infection.
