Karan Mehra did not meet his son for 15 months, while expressing his pain, he said - 'I don't know when I meet Kavish will be able to recognize it or not'
Mumbai: ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame Karan Mehra has been in the news for his personal life since last year. Karan Mehra was accused of domestic violence by wife Nisha Rawal in May 2021. From the actress filing a complaint of domestic violence to Karan accusing Nisha of infidelity, the two have been publicly accusing each other. The one who suffers the most in this fight between husband and wife is their son Kavish Mehra.
As per the court order, Karan had to stay away from his child for 15 months without any contact. At the same time, now Karan told during an interview that if he goes back to his son after such a long time, will Kavish recognize him or not? He also revealed that Nisha had falsely accused him of ‘trying to kill’ her child.
During an interview to RJ Siddhartha Kannan, Karan said- I think I should get custody of my son because like I said, the environment is not right for a child to see all this. Kavish ko to nikal hi hai (I have to get Kavish out of there) This is my only duty.
Karan further said-I am waiting for the truth to come out in front of the world. I haven’t met Kavish for more than 15 months so I’m afraid the son will recognize him or not? Once he went back home for some time to get back his belongings and at that time he had only 5 minutes to talk to Kavish.’
In his conversation, Karan said-Kavish understands what is happening between his parents, as they asked ‘You have come here to live?’ To which he said- ‘I will come back only for you.’
Meanwhile, Karan claimed that his crew also never believed Nisha’s allegations as they knew what kind of person she is as Nisha keeps accusing Karan of new allegations. Nisha had accused Karan that he had once tried to kill Kavish.
